Fredericksburg Blizzard Cools Home Market

For the second consecutive weekend, Fredericksburg and the Mid Atlantic States have been slammed with major snow storms. Washington D.C. accumulated over 35 inches in a 24 hour period. News of two other potential storms coming in the upcoming week has residents speechless. I witnessed the real estate market slow down with preparations to each of these storms. Extremely cold temperatures forecasted in the wake of this last blizzard will help to keep the mass snowfall around for a longer while. I expect the market to heat up with catch up buyers and sellers along with those interested in getting registered for the Federal Tax Credit. Buyers should use this time wisely to scout listings from home. A great website with advanced IDX/MLS features like neighborhood search is a must. Fredericksburg Homes for Sale has these features. A good Fredericksburg realtor should already have those individuals on a hot search to receive target listings every day. I’m personally ready to roll. I have a Jeep Liberty with very aggressive snow tires designed for this exact weather scenario. In fact, I drove out just after this storm in my home community of Portobago Bay. The snow depths at times were over the hood. My real estate machine operates like a tank. Call me to tour homes ahead of the crowd. We might find some good deals with less competition.  I’m ready. Just wear tall boots and warm clothing. I promise you 100%. Your dreams and goals are my number one goals.
